Ocade falls into the hole, which, strangely enough, ignores Lich.


He hits hard ground a second later. The top of the hole has vanished. It seems to be a box, but the walls aren't actually made of anything. Just, hardness. It's very, but not completely, dark.

The sword can't do anything against the walls, and it's pretty inconvient to use in such a confined space.


Meanwhile:

Strife continues to stand atop the fort with Workerdrone, staring at his expansless plane. A buzzer sounds from somewhere inside his coat.


"Well Worker, it's been fun standing up here, but it seems someone tried to port into the fort. I'll have to go see what/who it was."

"You know, it'd be nice to have a blade that I trust backing me up here . . ."

Strife pulls the hatch open again. It's just a ladder descending to somewhere.

"I'll leave this portal up for a while, if you feel like following, it'll take you to the cell block."

Strife climbs down, heading to see what happened.
