Split seconds was what Luke had as moved he tilted his head out of the way. the limitations of the neck only gave him an inch, and he still got a (scratch? bruise?) from the tail attack, but Luke did not wish to think what would have happened he did not dodge it. able to manuver his right arm, he gave a Deadly another punched to the gut. He wasn't sure if it did any damage, but it gave him the room to get back to his feet, and jump behind one of the support pillars

Cairn seems dead set on his choice of location, and somewhat perplexed by Sofia's refusal to enter. Quickly, he grabs Little and Sofia and yanks them into the room, quickly inscribing some kind of mark on their foreheads before they retaliate. Suddenly, the room seems to be lit with a strange silverish light. There is no colour, but silhouettes are brightly outlined with silver, and their vision seems otherwise unaffected.

"This is why I wanted a Darkroom. I couldn't pull off a stunt like that anywhere else. In here, I'm safe, and in control."

[EDIT: I have no intention of things going that way CJ - I have no wish to anger the Toady One. I'm demonstrating background and abilities still, and I'll do a fade-to-black (appropriate ) if it's necessary. Sofia creeps me out too ]

((Hmm. I'm not sure which Daemon God to use here. Tzeentch could find the place useful for his plans, as it has much power imbued with it; Khorne, in command of this realm, could conquer several universes, rather than the one he was previously limited to; Nurgle... Still working on his reason. I really want to try out writing for Slaanesh, though, considering all the indulgence that occurs here; however, I'm scared that just describing its daemons would bring down the wrath of Toady...))

((Well, I figure a place like this, with all this potential wouldn't be passed up by the Daemon Gods, so I figured a small-scale invasion (Like, 100-300 Daemons/Chaos Marines) was in order. What I'm trying to figure out, though, is which God to use.))

((I was actually planning on continuing the comic style of the Ork story, and have Trogskull and his entire camp be very abruptly destroyed by a Greater Daemon. Obviously, their spores will make new Orks, but that will be delayed until either the Chaos is defeated, or it would be entertaining to see a sudden Ork surge attacking from seemingly nowhere.))
