]I know my sister saw Paradise Now, so not much chance of seeing that, and I never really liked Napoleon Dynamite.

Wait what? Why does that mean you can't see the movie? It's really good.

I didn't like The Band's Visit as much. It's actually serious, there's just a whole of really awkward scenes which reminded us of Napoleon Dynamite.

Is "Paradise now" kind of like "Apocalypse Now"?

In general, I don't watch movies on my own, unless I go to the theater.

I haven't seen Apocalypse Now, but I don't think so. It's about two Palestinian teenagers that get called up to be suicide bombers and subsequent turmoil with their families and stuff.

I watch lots of movies...between me and my friends we have plenty to go around. I usually buy DVDs for a buck or two online, or else a lot of people have NetFlix. Not sure if NetFlix goes to Lebanon tho.

They get "called up" to be suicide bombers? How does that work?

You sign up for the army/suicide group that pays you money, but they give you a call when they expect you to do your work. I think.

Basically. In the movie, it was already established that they'd signed up to be suicide bombers. I was disappointed by that; I was hoping it would show them making the decision/being pressured into it/whatever happened. They didn't seem none to eager to do it once called though...but I won't spoil anything.

I packed up, left and arrived today at the UAE. I guess this is the end of this thread.
