No one has to ask for a clone. Cloning is part of the X-COM program.

Part 9 coming later this afternoon!

Part 9

I encountered a strange bug. People who were dead from fatal wounds (were wounded, on the ground, died the next turn) ended up just wounded at the end of the mission. First I have seen of it. Just means those two guys were lucky they didn't die instead. I'll try to see if I can recreate the glitch another time.

In this episode, God creates a miracle.

Nah, keep going.  The first X-COM had the same bug, and they never got around to fixing it.

Just chalk it up to providence.  We're all clones anyway.

I guess I'm just so used to having everyone die in one shot and not actually be able to take a hit and live even if it is only for one turn.

I'll solider on for the sake of Earth!

I think, that dying of a fatal wound while unconscious does that.

since they are wounded for the next 37 days, you could take the next in the waiting list while they recuperate.

Sorry about getting wounded, on the other hand, my stats are looking good, hopefully I'll get back to combating aliens soon.

also: stat increase depends on what you do on the battlefield:

carry heavy stuff? getting stronger.
Use accurate shot? (or whatever it's called) increase accuracy.
have less than 50% Time units/stamina/health/courage at anytime doing the combat? that stat may increase.

That [Magma] is a bit deep down there, don't you think?
You really aren't thinking like a dwarf.

If you think it is down too far, you move it up until it reaches an acceptable elevation.

Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do.
I'm half crazy all for the love of you.
It won't be a stylish marriage,
I can't afford a carriage
But you will look sweet upon the seat
of a bicycle built for two.

Hey, dying when you're awesome sucks.  Dying when you always die is just normal.

Aqizzar gets nuked. In the literal sense; he got blown the hell up.

Holy hell.  Dammit, when I die, I want to leave a crater, not lie in one!

Alright Kapitan, time to pop the cork on another bottle of Aqizzar.

That's what. If the mountain wasn't there and he wasn't on the edge of the map there would be even more smoke and blown up terrain. Pretty much the reason why I try to keep everyone seperated by the length of a full size screen.
