"the One dimensional game"
Wow, a one dimensional game would be awesome.  It would be, like, a line of pixels.

Hmm... Thanks, now I wanna play that... If I weren't already working on a project, I'd try my hand at making it...

I call it Dwarfort or DF (often slurred to sound like "deaf").
The first time my friends saw it, they all said "Wtf is that?"
Now my friends call it Dwarf Fortress.
My aunt calls it "Dwarf City or whatever it's called."
My grandma called it "that dwarf game" when she said I could install it on her computer if I wanted to play. I promptly explained that it barely runs on my computer and thus, would do absolutely nothing on hers.

Lolz, thankfully she's running XP.
On a laptop.
But with a crappy single-core processor, 512 megs of ram, and a 32 gig HD with only 4 left.
I exported a couple of maps and ended up with a 5 gig DF folder.
Damn bitmaps.

Me and my friends don't refer to it by name instead they refer to it by inside jokes.

It's be invisible actually... Well... Yea. Invisible. It's be a 'point' so to speak, but only in the fact that it would hold a point in the universe, but there would be no way to see it visibly.

No, one point is zero dimensions.
One dimension is a line.
Two is a square.
Three is a cube.
Four is a hypercube.
Etc.

Note that it's only a model of what a computer could look like in 2004. You can't actually use it.

Alright, first dimension is a line, but it's still in no way visible.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimension

Yes, I've read it before. Do I need to sit down and explain to you why it wouldn't be visible?

It should be obvious to most people that it's not visible.
Unfortunately, humans can only see in 2 or 3 dimensions, so to represent 1, we must draw a 2 dimensional figure.

Actually (assuming we're just talking about nomal geometry and not Einsteinian space-time), a one-dimensional object would not be a point, but a long line. It would be invisible though.

EDIT: O_O ninja'd... several times over
