So, a little while ago, I ended up making some comics in another thread I can't be bothered to search for. While making those, it occurred to me how horribly embarrassingly out of practice I am. And I can't pretend I'll eventually pen that award winning graphic novel if I can't draw anymore. SO I NEED PRACTICE.

I was nursing a hangover today* and it occurred to me to start scribbling again. I drew some fanarts.

That would be Frog from Chrono Trigger, Kefka from FF6 and Rorschach but you'd have to be living in a cave not to know that.

My point is that without some sort of outside influence I probably won't draw anything else until the next time I'm hung over all day. Which is actually not very often. So I am taking requests! And critiques! And whatever! Consider me your art bitch. I need things to draw.

UPDATE : Alright, this madness has gone long enough! I'm not taking any more requests, although I'll leave the topic open while I finish up anything still pending. Thank you all for your strange, strange ideas and for managing to not horribly derail this topic in my time between updates. It was fun.

"an areal perspective looking down into the courtyard of a castle on a cliff over the sea. it is sunrise. no DFy inspiration.
The rock of the castle is sort of blueish, the walls high and thick, the towers are many but  fairly square and stumpy. the castle design should be fairly realistic.
On the courtyard is a market, with a big crowd and a lot of people selling stuff and street entertainers and colourful cloth. The ones in the distance look mostly human, but the people are taller, almost like elves, and has much better posture than most humans. Most importantly however is that all the people are made of slightly blue tinted glass.
The courtyard is mostly covered in cobblestone, but there are a few trees. and those are very lush.
In the foreground on a wall there is a patrolling guard, much larger than the people on the courtyard but not by far large enough to be considered the main motive.
The feel of the scene is almost eteral, with a focus on optical efects such as the colored light or the refractions throught the glass peaple and s on."

In retrospect I probably should have anticipated something like that. Live and learn.

It's 2:40 AM here currently and I can't recall ever drawing an elephant or velociraptor. But I guess half the point was to draw things...I wouldn't normally draw.

Heh. Do a rendition of a thousand elves attacking a tiny hamlet with four people in it, and losing with massive casualties.

I used to draw stuff like that, with colored pens. Add one tiny combatant, another tiny combatant, a sniper in a ditch, a mole machine surfacing from somewhere, an airstrike, etc, etc. It usually took me a lot of effort to understand what went on where if I ever looked at the thing again.

All I have to say about this is that raptors are incredibly hard to draw even when they are not wearing human clothes and operating firearms.
