I heard something about a recent re-release of both Alpha Centauri and Alien Crossfire, but I'm not sure when it was re-released. Alien Crossfire is no longer worth quite as many times its weight in gold.

Derailing the thread, I know (But, that should just encourage Wimdit to post more updates). I never found crossfire to be much of an improvement over the original. The new stuff that it added seemed like it was too often strictly better than the original stuff, and that made me dislike it.
