Okay.
Hurrah! Sea power!
That geneticist I talked about earlier was apparently one of those who went to Oldbeard Rock. Looks like his Recycling Tanks were what Oldbeard was working on for the past decade or so. I hear they wrote a book together as well. They call it 'Ethics for Tomorrow,' and it includes the phrase 'It is every citizen's final duty to go into the Tanks, and become one with all the people.'
...Well, I suppose it's all for the better, even though it's a bit creepy. Can't let any protein go to waste, after all.
And of course, Oldbeard immediately commemorates his achievement.
'But if there can be no arrangement, then we are at an impasse.'
'I'm afraid so.'
Stupid Zones of Control.
I'm not sure about this new project of Oldbeard's. He keeps muttering about 'showing the elves,' whatever that means.
Ack! No more sea power.
Lolwut.
The rover landed next to U.N. Headquarters. Lal wasn't too pleased to see it there, so he teleported it back with his Diplomacy Magic. Oh well. At least I know where it is now.
Speaking of Lal, we somehow know that he's founded a new base. We'll show him. We'll build a bigger one, and it'll be called The Majesty of Colours.
Today a large portion of The Mountainhome's population came to me saying that they had made a breakthrough and demanded that I ratify their proposal for an economic system, insisting that inefficiency (which the system had plenty of) was 'dwarven.' Whatever that means. I acceded despite the cost, just to get them out of my hair.
No sooner had the new base been founded than it came under attack by mind worms. The colonists managed to fight them off, however.
I gave orders for an area in the centre of the alien ruins to be cleared out. Because settling in the middle of a mysterious circle of monoliths built by aliens is always a good idea.
I also ordered that a new form of entertainment be designed for me to enjoy. Because I'm bored.
Developing an intelligence service seems like a good idea as well.

Okay, so I lied when I said The Majesty of Colours would be in the ruins.
