I would be pretty pissed if the world would end in five days.

Getting your wisdom teeth removed aint funny, and if I'm going to kick the bucket in five days I might as well have kept them.

Who knows maybe those Wisdom Teeth are what they need to save the world. It would be a shame that the world got destroyed because you refused to part with them.

Also this brings us to how many predicted appocolypses so far?

I survived so many so far but I still have 2012 to deal with.

Meh.

The church predicated the second coming of Christ back in 1000 A.D.

When it didn't come they revised the date to something like 1024 A.D at the latest. It didn't come.

History is full of people predicting the word is going to end, and then running away and hiding when it doesn't.

Nostradomus though got it right

Make the prediction as applicable to EVERYTHING as possible!

Though he didn't actually predict the end of the world anyhow he just pretty much predicted a large disaster. (In a similar way that Ragnerok though often refered to as the death of the gods in fact didn't kill all the gods or people)

I especially like how they found out how to fit in a few photos from Star Trek in there.

That part appealed to me, even as I happily disregarded the rest.

Oh, 2012 will probably just come close by, gets pulled of it's path and comes back at us at 2031, by then we just nuke the hell out of it, problem solved.
