Ah, I missed it in between all the action.  It makes me kinda sad that the thread that inspired mine may soon end, but that's life I suppose.

The last fight ended, and the champion raised his bloodstained weapon in glory.
The skies themselves darkened red and filled with clouds as the primal roar echoes forth from the stadium, while the crowd exploded in cheers.

Yes, it was all over, and the winner stood watching the stands, savoring the applause, as the pool of blood widened around his boots and the heavens swirled above.

This was his day, and he called for ale for the whole crowd.
Nothing could spoil this moment.
