By the looks of it Nanothnir is the only Spearman that got some good Exp in his fight right, its cause everyone else is not wearing any chest armour so the spear can become that instant kill we have been seeing...
Hey did Nanothnir even get anything like a stat or something from his first fight???
Can I see his Status sheet...

-Presses Triangle, Opens Game Menu, scrolls to Status, selects Nanothnir-

No attributes and so far noone has gained any combat skills. There hasn't been any matches between people with good armour or good shields with these weaker weapons so this next round of fights might be better.

Edit: Toony, where the hell do you get these avatars?

My opponent was wearing chest armor!  ;D

You may think my battle was too short, BloodBeard, but I feel it was truly dwarven in its brevity. I was all like, "Stab!", and he was all like, "AUGH! My hand! blargle..." It was awesome. :D

I think I'm going to buy a +Copper Gauntlet+ for my weapon hand, now. I was already a little afraid of losing my weapon, but eeeugh....

Good luck in your next battle, Rashilul!

The berserker spirit is not with me.  I have to turn it around fast if I want to keep in the runnings.  I'm pulling for me, I have to get my revenge on the toonyman.

You guys will get a chance to redeem yourselves. There are four dwarves who are 1 loss away from being booted, to give them all a fighting chance i'll match them up with the new dwarves who lost. Those fights will probably take place sometime after i'm done with the 1st Degrees and before the next Championship fight.

I think my problem is that I'm too weighted down.  Can I like take off all my armor but my shirt and cap for my next match?

Sure.

Poll results:

Question: Which of these three weapons do the most damage?
*copper battle axe* 11 (57.9%)
+bronze battle axe+ 6 (31.6%)
iron battle axe 2 (10.5%)

The majority were right with *copper battle axe*, the next most damaging was the +bronze battle axe+ followed by the iron battle axe.

Could I sell my chainmail and trade in my old axe for an exceptional one?

You would be 40 short of an exceptional axe. You could afford a well crafted axe but that's only an increase of 1 quality. Most people from the tournament opted to not buy anything at this stage.

Alright so this is what i'm looking at:

Match 24: Nanothnir vs. Barbaros "The Destroyer"
Match 25: ToonyMan vs. Ravus Maniacus
Match 26: Urist McHammerdwarf vs. Diego "The Smasha"
Match 27: Kesham vs. Remalle
Match 28: Flint vs. Led Warleach
Match 29: Urist McUrist vs. Labs

I'm not looking to pit the best against the best just yet and I think this balances out alright. There are still some who might not know they've won 100 turtles so i'll just start with the ones I know are ready.

If you ever get a free spot, count me in please :)

I can wait with buying armor and weapons till I have a dwarf, right? Or do you prefer right now?

Wouldn't the sale of my current axe and armor give me 300? or have I done something wrong here?

With the waiting list it might take a while for some to get their dwarf, so i'd prefer you wait. Should a spot open i'll let you know  :)

Combined with your winnings you have 110 now, you would get 90 from selling your axe and 60 from your chain mail, you'd have 260 and an exceptional axe costs 300. If you missed it, you only get 50% face value from selling equipment.

You got it all wrong here, you buy things with what money you win from fights and use the armour you already have untill you sell it (for 50% of it's face value). Check your profile on page 1, it lists how much you have in your coffer.
