As for you Jim, if Necksnapper doesn't win his next fight he is out of here. Don't give your hopes up, Barbaros was one of the top losers of round 1.

How about you throw me a little bone and let Necksnapper fight without his hammer?

I understood nothing, contributed nothing, but still got to win, so good game everybody else.

Awesome! Can I have the next match? Against Toonyman if he's unskilled?

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

I challange Barbaros...
Spear against Spear...
I wearing Armour while he holds the stronger Spear...
Who will win???

(Hopefully me...)

You hold the stronger spear actually. Remember my tips on page 1, quality means much more then metal type.

How about you throw me a little bone and let Necksnapper fight without his hammer?

 :P

Maybe if you lose i'll do a non-saved fight with Necksnapper wrestling someone.

I read the whole thing just then and i think it is brilliant! Could i be on the waiting list please?

Thanks and yes.

Me want blood now. Me do fight fight.

I wouldn't mind challenging Labs, if he's game for the challenge. I'd like to see a bit of Iron-on-Iron action!

No, I think the cook would be in charge of sugar-coating the cows.

You are a lifesaver! Round and probably in tropical flavors.

What's with the lack of names in the logs? Is that a result of however you're using Dwarf Companion to trigger the fights? It makes it a bit hard to follow what's happening.

Wow, I love Toram's Sword getting lodged and subsequently twisted around in Remalle's Brain. Even better, Remalle still walked away from the battle after the Bronze Shortsword Lobotomy, and going all Picaso and having an ear chopped off. Well done!

What's with the lack of names in the logs? Is that a result of however you're using Dwarf Companion to trigger the fights? It makes it a bit hard to follow what's happening.

It's a side effect of using Dwarf Companion to retrieve the Combat Text, I believe, and is unavoidable. However, one idea to make the text more readable would be to set the Dwarves' Professions to their Nickname, or failing that their Last Name. The pink text will then indicate who has been injured: It will display as "The Smasha's Brain has been badly cut" instead of "The Recruit".

The only problem is that upon death, it will display the name twice: "Diego 'The Smasha' Fikodumam, Smasha, has been struck down."

The only thing I can do as Solifuge said is change their profession to their name. It's easier to tell who is doing what if you take note of what weapon each of them use.

Battles to come:

Match 19: Samus vs. Ravus
Match 20: Labs vs. Kadol
Match 21: Flint vs. Olon
Match 22: Kesham vs. Deathlord
Match 23: Urist vs. Damug

Kesham: So, I need to do what now?
Random Arena Guard: You just go through that door over there and try to stab the guy on the other side.
Kesham: Oh. I don't really like hurting people...
Guard: Um... You saw the thing with the magma, right? I don't think you should worry about it. It's...uh...not permanent.
Kesham: Really? That's good. Um.... What's his name?
Guard: Huh?
Kesham: The guy I'm fighting. What's his name?
Guard: Uh, Deathlord, I think.
Kesham: Deathlord... That's an odd name. *looks worryingly at his spear* Are you sure I can't use a catapult?

Kadol sat in her chambers, polishing her Iron Shield as she waited for her first Qualifier Match to begin. She gazed into its mirrored surface, which reflected her face back to her. It was creased with the scars of a youth spent adventuring... adventuring in complete anonymity. Sure, she had wrestled a few wild beasts, and traveled to the frontier of the Dwarven Empire... but none of her exploits have brought her closer to the renown she and her kin so desperately needed.

Reborn...

The shield she now held, and the cold Iron Spear that lay alongside it, represented a chance for her redemption. No longer was she just a traitor's daughter, or a savage dwarf wandering the wilderness. The Phoenix Chamber had given her a new name, and a new life as a warrior.

And yet, even in a place where to die in battle didn't mean the end, second chances were limited on the road to glory. She thought on this, as she secured a simple Copper Bracer to her spear arm, and stood, awaiting her escort to the Arena.
