Deal! The payment will be all at once, and it will be in pennies, and it will be air dropped onto your house sans parachute.

Good luck!

For some reason this called to mind the ending of Real Genius. :D

Looks like the inventory screen of a roguelike . . . though the only one that comes to mind right now is Stone Soup, which if I remember correctly doesn't use the comma key to cycle through it.

I had them for five years. If you're hoping for pain-free brushing, well, I can't help you there. :( But as far just keeping your teeth hygienic, my best advice is that you take special care to brush all around the brackets, one tooth at a time, and to brush with the toothbrush pointed diagonally down then diagonally up to get behind the wires in between each tooth. It's kind of hard to explain without pictures, but the idea is that you want the bristles to hit behind the wire with enough force to knock of any plaque. Since you can't hit the teeth from the front, you go in from above and below, but you do it with a diagonal slant so that you aren't just rubbing the side of the brush against your teeth.

I took great care of my teeth the entire five years I had dental work done, only to find out that the orthodontist didn't put the sealant on right and so I had cavities under the brackets when they came off. I was angry. >:(

The roguelike he's referencing is Nethack, which Solarshado knew I'd get since I'm pretty prominent on the Nethack thread.

0_0 I'll bet... I'd sue.

I'm coming up on 2 years. Started just before the hollidays of '07.

EDIT: Nethack, eh? Never could get into it.

i will never donate blood...  i am terribly afraid of syringes.
not needles in general... i have no problems with sewing needles. but if anyone come near me with a syringe, i start screaming and trying to go away, if that is for me. if it is just a random syringe, i still get out of the room if possible.

I'm 5 foot 8 1/4 inches (173 1/2 cm (For some reason I think of my hight in imperial measurements first)) and weigh 57.5 kg. I'm 15 but would I be able to donate blood if I was old enough? I don't know my blood type.

Not to mention make me tougher. Remember, it's harder to kill somebody who suffered than somebody who wore armor for his whole life and now isn't wearing armor.

Is... is that how that works?

Basically. A combat hardened vet will be able to take more damage than a toughest weight lifter.

It's sort of like how calluses pop up on your hands when you work them hard.  You start building up protection.  The same can go mentally too.  Or it could backfire.   ;)

Actually, it's evolution doing its job.

You see, your body doesn't want to improve itself. Your muscles don't want to grow. They grow because they HAVE TO. Exercising BREAKS your muscles. But when they are rebuilt, they are rebuilt stronger!

Same goes for bones, skin and most internal organs.

But it DOES NOT work mentally. Since brain cells NEVER renew. Well, not until science figures it out. We've made great progress in regenerative medicine.

However, scientists are making progress towards eliminating the gene that tells your body to not give a shit. Cells will constantly better themselves. Meaning that EVERYONE would grow muscles without working out!
