My gums sometimes bleed a bit (yay for shitty teeth) and I concur that blood doesn't taste all that bad.
If your gums bleed get that checked out, you are basically one step away from false teeth.

You don't know how bad my teeth are do you? Lets just say you can 300 year old corpses with a better set of teeth.  I hate dentists with a passion though so there is nothing I will do.
Well, if you want to be able to chew anything once your teeth fall out you'll need to visit a dentist at some point, otherwise get used to blended food.
I don't think that's true.
Bleeding gums is often caused by gum disease and gum disease often results in your teeth falling out.

Smoker's gums don't bleed, does that mean they have healthy teeth?

No, but unless you're pregnant, it's generally not normal to have gums that randomly bleed. That is usually a sign of disease, as thatguyyaknow pointed out. :)

My teeth bleed sometimes when I brush my teeth, 'course it's probably because I brush them too hard.   ;D

I believe the relevant logic here is:
If A causes B, B doesn't necessarily cause A

Ninjad:
I get that too, although  with me it's because I don't really brush them as often as I should.

If anyone really wants to know optimal brushing technique if you have an electric toothbrush you should hold it against the front of each individual tooth for 3 seconds then the back for 3 seconds then the top for 2 seconds. You should also consciously clean the canines on the same side as your dominant hand twice because most people have habit of missing them due to the way they manoeuvre the brush in their mouth.

Yep my mums a dental nurse so I get to know quite a bit about teeth.

Yeah, that's pretty normal. Although if your teeth were really hardcore healthy they wouldn't, or so my dentist tells me. :D

Teeth randomly bleeding for no apparent reason though, that is not normal.

Good god man, pack your spine and go see the dentist already.  My teeth look like absolute crap, but I still try to get them taken care off because I don't want to be gumming my food at age thirty.

Nose bleeds are caused by either picking yer nose too much, or not enough.

But yes, the human body is not meant to spontaneously bleed(Females are excluded for the regularity of the event). Always have it checked out.

They can also be caused by dehydration, since your nose needs to be slightly moist to be healthy. Often one of the first signs of dehydration is nose itching (which leads to excess sneezing), or nosebleeds. At least in my experience.

Could be canker sores. I get them if I eat certain foods in high enough quantities.

If you pay me 25 thousand United States Dollars I will go to the dentist.

Deal! The payment will be all at once, and it will be in pennies, and it will be air dropped onto your house sans parachute.

Good luck!

See, now that's a valid excuse.  I don't know how many different ways I can explain to the guy that I'd love to get all my teeth fixed up nice shiny, but I don't have the price of a new car to plunk down at notice.
