For example Zoo Tycoon with the Dinosaurs... The Dinosaurs could escape and eat your guests and need to be shot.

Non-violent anime, hmm...

Most of the anime I like HAS some violence, but I'll think of some good ones...

Hmm...

Lucky Star, definitely. It's the least violent anime I've watched outside of kodomo. Puchi Puri Yuushi and Kaleido Star are also non-violent (though Puchi Puri Yuushi does have a bit, though it's mostly a non-violent shoujo.). Other than that, I'd recommend Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl and maybe Hand Maid May.
