haha KQ1.  Do you want those of us who have beaten it to tell you what to do?

Also, you lost your chance at a perfect score a while back. :P  I'm not sure how serious you were about that though.

Yeah, I know I screwed up a perfect score, but that doesn't matter.  As long as I can beat it.  I'm guessing the golden egg to troll thing.  Hee hee.

As for those who have beaten it, you can still say commands, but don't do it as much, only when we're hopelessly lost.  Like right now.

You don't need the bucket.  It just nets you more points I think.  At least that's how I remember it.

(No command from me since I would just backtrack and do mine :P  Let's not get into a passive aggressive fight here)

Edit: Do you still have your dagger?  As in, did you lose it in the goat fiasco?

I've already told him to load after losing anything, and have been watching to make sure he doesn't make the game unwinnable.

My way for the well is better though, since it neutralizes some of the threat of a later King's Quest game. Even though there is technically no carryover, or way for the game to know that that bit should be different. We probably shouldn't discuss it though; it might spoil something.

Meta-metagaming?  That's new.

Heh, is KQ2 after this?  Or maybe a run for perfect score?  Of course we still have a long adventure in front of us.

edit: Ah I see your edit.

Yeah I was hoping to do a KQ2 after this, unless someone else does one.   :P  As for the perfect score......nah.  As long as we beat it.   ;D

Anyway, do I take the bucket?

I would say go ahead.  You're going to be doing essentially the same thing with or without it, though.

I kinda wish other people unfamiliar with it would chime in here.  That's what I (we?) have been waiting for.

Oh and regarding KQ2, would it be the original or the VGA remake?  There are significant plot differences.

Original of course!  I like the old school graphics more for some reason.
