This is a "Second Server/Game" of the other Dwarven Life game i'm currently running. I have far too much free time, so I thought i'd run a second game for those who wanted to play.
I'm going to skip the babyhood and childhood this time around, though, seeing as it was so boring.

How do I join?

Simply type your character name (Preferable your Username, or atleast, some of it).
And then wait for the placeholders to fill up, i'll keep it at 4 for now - Your second name will be generated.
Additional: I'm going to allow players to be any of the DF races in this game; Human, Elf (Ew), Dwarf, Goblin, Kobold... Also, just for fun, i'll let you be a any semi-mega (They're the ettins and giants, right? Well, those guys).
Describe your character with two words and choose three skills to start with (Carpenter, woodcutter, miner, mason, fisher-being-, etc).
The two descriptions will create permanent and benefitial (also sometimes powerful) aspects.
I'll generate the rest. Good luck, have fun!

We are full at the moment! Sorry! Feel free to post comments on the game as it progresses, though. :)

How is the date handled?

The date will be aproxximate, and pretty much just be used for dating events. But otherwise, Mid-summer 223, for example.

How is currency and skills handled?

Money will be handled by jobs, selling items, doing quests...The usual stuff.

How are turns handled?

Basically, I am like the server, and you are the clients (In tech-terms).
Or basically, I post "game begins!" the players say what they will do, we wait till everyone has posted, then I post Turn 1. And the cycle goes on.

Character..Traits, did you say?

Players have traits in game, they develop according to how the game is played out. Here are two examples:
a) Underground Adaption - You gain a happiness bonus from being underground. Cure: Spend a week above ground and not in a building.
b) Lucky - You gain a +2 Attack in battle. Cure: Miss an opponent three times in a row.

Alright guys, it's going to take me 15-30 minutes to get everything ready, so I suggest you take a look at the original Dwarven Life game and see how everything works.
Notable, how turns are taken. There should be a "GameMaster Says:" somewhere about "Open" and "Closed" actions.

You may aswell skip the first few pages about babyhood, too :P

You, one of the remaining humans of the crumbling Empire of Bottling, now set out on an adventure. You stand in the village centre.
 



Org's Turn Events:
You are a dwarf of Peakbusts, the frontier mountainhome on the western face of the mountains. Your motherland, which controls the far north, is to the east, across the mountains and past - as what you remember - two goblin towers.
To the west is a human civilization on the verge of destruction by elven forces.



Filiusenox's Turn Events:
You have recently arrived at the Ruins of Alkocshace after travelling for many weeks from the far south.
From what you have gathered from texts, Alkocshace was the second-built city of the human civilization The Empire of Bottling, built in 30. For some reason, a war was sparked with the elven civilization The Incinerated Tails somewhere between year 40 and 50.
Alkocshace was rebuilt in 70, only to be destroyed again in 93.
The war is ongoing to this day, and the humans have been pushed back to three small villages. The roads remain, connecting the four ruins and one village to the north-east, two villages are in the wilderness to the east. Alkocshace is in the west.
The sun rises to the east, sending shades of warm orange into the foliage-overgrown scene before you.



TheNewerMartianEmperor' Turn Events:
You are a dwarf of the sturdy The Still Creation empire. Your motherland completely controls the icy-cold mountains of the far south-east, devious and terrible forests span for hundreds of miles as far as the eye can see. The inner sea is said to be just over the horizon to the west, far across the forests.
Across the mountains to the south is said to be a huge expanse of land of bountiful forests and gushing rivers; but many few have travelled there.
You sit on the edge of a cliff facing to the west, watching the sunrise.

If you have a skill in Ambushing, this is permanently active, so no need to worry about it. When you encounter a enemy/creature, you have a chance to not be noticed when you enter the battlefield.

Org's Turn Events:
You hop to your feet and begin desending the cliff side, the thought that elven blood can be spilled heavy on your mind - or maybe the fact that there are innocent lives to save.
Either way, you get to bloody your weapon.

You travel west into The Swamp of Tomes heading for Dearrinse (8.5 days left)



Filiusenox's Turn Events:
You head eastward along the road into The Hills of Gifting, the coast blocking a direct travel to the north-east, heading for Puzzledsloppy (5 days remaining)





TheNewerMartianEmperor' Turn Events:
You head inside back inside.
(Players start out at towns, usually their birth-place. If you are at a mountainhome, and you say "Go to the mountainhome", then you wind up just heading inside - say where you want to go to that is inside the mountainhome next time).
