Yep, quantum. Sommat to do with the collapse of the interior waveform of a thaum in the picoseconds after the release of the emission from the source, or something.

Asheron, allow the game to have that Linux option... thing to have a second desktop, just in case we destroy the first.

The idea for the next game is a bit above desktops actually. And yes, we did. Shame on us. Though there is no humanity anymore for it to torture.
