Okay, our last judge just sent in a No-Go, so I shall be compiling votes and awarding special points and all that jazz Post Haste!

Alright, the scores are tallied and compiled, and we have our winners.

This is a Bronze 3rd Place Medal. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. On the item is an image of Dwarves in Rock Crystal. The Dwarves are laboring. The image relates to the completion of Rivercross by Grimlocke in August of 2009.

Coming in at 3rd Place, with 175/250 Points is Grimlocke, who spanned the raging Sable Lock with a mighty bridge, inlaid with colored stones and statues, and supported by a magnificent tower of stone and glass! To him goes the Bronze Medal. Congratulations to Grimlocke!

This is a Silver 2nd Place Medal. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. On the item is an image of Dwarves in Ruby. The Dwarves are laboring. The image relates to the completion of Rivercross by Crash2445 in August of 2009.

Coming in at 2nd Place, with 183.33/250 Points is Crash2445, whose broad stone bridge, covered by sky-spanning arches, concealed a beautiful stone inlay, and a deadly labyrinth. To him goes the Silver Medal. Excellent work Crash!

This is a Gold 1st Place Medal. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. On the item is an image of Dwarves in Star Sapphire. The Dwarves are laboring. The image relates to the completion of Rivercross by Martin in August of 2009.

In 1st place, with a grand total of 195/250 Points, comes Martin, who managed to sculpt and terraform a huge river canyon, carving it into a gigantic natural stone fortress, and harnessing the power of the Major River with a gigantic dam. Congratulations to Martin, this round's Dwarf Fortress Master!

The scoring system is set up to not be skewed if a judge doesn't submit a score for a given category, by averaging all judge scores together, and multiplying that by a weighting factor. After that, I added bonus points for judge's favorites, fort statistics, and the end results were compared to determine final rankings.

Congratulations everyone! Most enjoyable - twas indeed a shame that some judges and some competitors couldn't get involved in the end, but now we have a much better idea of how much effort/time/dwarfsweat&tears&blood is required, so next round should be immense!
