Urist is the Russian word for lawyer. (from Juris, latin) So next time when your fort fails, instead of blaming the soapmakers, you can blame the lawyers.

Huh, thats funny, because in Dwarven Urist means dagger.  Those backstabbing lawyers.

The Russian word sounds like "you WRIST".
I've always pronounced Urist as "YOU wrist".

Um, I've always thought "Oo-er - wrist".  As in what you'd expect if you read it phonetically (UR-ist).

I always say it like "You-Wrist", however, "Ooh-Wrist" sounds more authentic.
