Mission0 had braved the tower, battling monsters, and outwitting fiendish traps along the way. Now, he was standing before the door to the room where the lich dwelt. He proceeded to open it, leading him to see one of the strangest sights of his life.
The room was filled with the kind of warmth one only finds in a well-lived in home heated by a fireplace. The place was decorated in an affectation of the style of an old english manor house. The back wall of the room was taken up in it's entirety by a library of titanic proportions, being several stories in height, with many levels connected by stairways. Off to the right side from his point of view was the area where the creature slept.
It of a massive four poster bed, with a huge collection of blankets, pillows and cushions amassed inside. The bed was surrounded with toyboxes, stuffed to overflowing with various plush toys. Beyond that was the cupboard housing the clothes. He couldn't see inside, as it was closed.
On the other side of the room was a sitting area, with a couple of huge comfortable-looking armchairs with footrests around a fireplace. In one of these was the lich, who was dressed in an outfit shockingly unfit for one whose ravages must devour entire worlds, and whose dark deeds must be the stuff of the darkest legends.
He was dressed in a slightly too large blue bathrobe, with purple trimming, and lots of pink hearts all over it. On his feet were a pair of matching bunny slippers. He was currently engaged in the past time of reading a book with the title "Thief of Time" by a mister "Terry Pratchett", which he was holding in one hand. In the other hand he was holding a ceramic mug filled with hot chocolate, with "Worlds best chaotic undead" proudly displayed upon its surface.
He looked over his shoulder to see who had come in. Seeing that it was mission he said: "Ah, it's you. Well, don't just stand there like an old tree, sit down!" He then indicated one of the armchairs.
