Could you add: "Stands in smoke whenever possible" to my character?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

UGHHHH, 94 days in the hospital. The guy took 5 shots and lived (power suit is not overkill when you have guys worth saving) because he had to play Solid Snake in order to get the commander from a very large UFO. Everyone died but him on that mission.

What the f...

How can that guy be a Sergeant and have stats that wrap around the screen?  For that matter how can he stats like that with 31 missions and half the kills?  I've had Captains with more than that under their belts, and they were still technically human.

Dear sweet gods. Can you say "super-soldier"?

1. I have a captain that is already injured. No one else is ranked higher and the captain has like another 50 days in the hospital.
2. This is my psi trooper and doesn't see a lot of action. He got like 4 kills on the mission he got injured (last man standing) and the rest were before I researched psionics. He likes to stay in the skyranger.
3. I am so pissed. I want him on the battlefield.

NONE OF THOSE THINGS ANSWER MY QUESTION.  WHY IS HE THE HULK?

Though still only Bravery 30.  So more like The Impragnable Krunk.

I find the bravery stat a bit overrated. I know how important it is but I have had guys with 50 bravery get mind controlled every turn. In fact I was extremely lucky he didn't die because he panicked a few times when he was all alone. I still cant believe he took 5 shots and lived. Never seen that before.

Why is he the hulk? Someone has to be in order to save my version of Earth from the alien scum.

Bravery doesn't stop Mind Control (that's Psi). What it DOES do is effect whether or not they panic when hit by a mind blast or when everyone around them drops.

So, yeah, it's pretty important, but not as important as Psi.

Ooh, ooh, can I get in, please?

Name: William Overbeck. (You can just call him Bill.)
Equipment: M16 Heavy Plasma, please.
Notes: He's an old man. In his sixties. And he is in love with those alien transporter things that allow him to skip stairs. He does not like stairs. Or Vietnam. Or aliens. And so he shoots at the aliens and kills them. Also he loves pills. Med bay will be his most favorite place if he survives and is wounded.

Hey, I'm trying to get an old downloaded version of X-COM gold edition to work on my PC. I have vista, and I'm not sure what to do. What compatibility, resolution, etc. do I need?

1. What happened to your flaming lazer goggles?
2. Try 256 colors, and really tiny.
▼These are all better ideas.
