9pm is my black-out zone, sorry. Moreso that it makes 10pm for me, which is night, which my internet doesn't like for some reason.  :-\

Ok I'm fed up of "We need a slogan!", so until someone comes up with better ones I'm proposing some.

Public:
We are Boat Murderers a friendly crew based around a common interest in the game Dwarf Fortress, anyone is free to join us just send a tell to an officer.

Extended Public:
For those interested in the origin of our name or who want to know more about Dwarf Fortress check out www.bay12games.com/dwarves.

Private:
Welcome to Boat Murderers, we currently have a thread on the Bay12 forums where we discuss things, head over to www.bay12games.com/forums you'll find us under other games. We don't currently have any hard rules other than to be respectful of other players, if you take a ship out on a pillage make sure you can restock it even if you lose everything. Other than that just have fun playing.

Like I said hardly perfect but those placeholder statements were really starting to bug me.
I looked at out statements again. It was still the same old 'we need a slogan.'

Seriously, put the quoted as our statements ASAP. I can guarantee you we will get little recruits with out current statements. The quoted is better than what we have, it's also the better placeholder until we decide shit out and write up a more detailed one.

Why would we want recruits through YHPP? (says the guy who hasn't signed on in a week)

I presume by YHPP you mean something about puzzle pirates.

Because this is a crew founded by B12'ers, not necessarily crewed solely by bay12'ers.

WHY do you have 92 doubloons?  Are you planning something big with them, or are you saying that you actually bought them?

Just saying. Down to 70 now actually.

I can buy a cutter.

I may buy a cutter.

I'll buy a sloop.
