What do we need to get started?
I have 4 dub. and am wondering if I should bother getting a badge, or contribute to the B12 gathering...

Oh man, YPP. I'll give this another go, though I've never been on a green ocean before.

My lego pirate man is known as Wimdit.

Is a labour badge a worthwhile investment?
Or is there better uses for riches?

Well, as far as monetarily, it won't make you much over what it costs.  It will allow you to play the labor puzzles on non-free days, though, and you can take a job at a shop you've ordered something from to contribute to making it (or at least getting other things done so your order comes up more quickly).

I got my gunning to broad today.  That hurt my hand, as gunning is not particularly friendly to it.  Tomorrow I'll do duty navigation, maybe, and then maybe battle nav, though I wouldn't be one to call upon to nav on a real pillage.

I just had an awesome idea.  We all need to make sexy female alts and bum money off of lonely guys who think it'll get them e-laid.

I'm sure that's been done plenty on almost every online game ever.  Why did you suddenly have this idea, anyway?

After an attempt to lead a moocher on that was no fun at all.

It's easier in WoW, you can put up a few thousand gold in trade and then go AFk.

Gunning is easier if you dual-wield mouse + arrow keys (if I remember the controls right, maybe it was wasd instead)

I am absolutely terrible at brawling.  I've won once, and been knocked out every other time I've tried it.  Anyone have any hints?
