Oh... where do I get your invite? I don't see anything in the Ahoy! window...

Edit: I did find your testing message... you sent those right at the time I joined a poker table, so it got buried. I checked the message log and found it, but still no invite... ???

Edit: I won 150 PoE and left the table... because there are some crazy guys (or bluffers) in there. First round already raised 20, and in the end he lost with Club 2 and Spade 7 in his hands. He continued raising and calling until he lost. His hand had nothing at all. There're four more players betting like that.

Bluffing is one thing, betting like that all the time is another...
It doesn't seem that uncommon for people to just go all in without even seeing any cards, I'm begining to wonder if it isn't a good way to earn exp or something by just repeatedly betting big because I've seen plenty of people just repeatedly going all in and then rebuying and just repeating u8ntill they presumably run out of money and leave.

Also for slogan, something dwarf fortress like, "Histories of booty and Rum" or something

Did we decide blood for the blood god was inappropriate?

I don't know, it hasn't been changed from "We need a slogan" ingame yet though.

Is there more than one boat?
Is there a raid happening soon?
I have been away playing SS13(BS12) for the past days.

Also, I have advice on the labour badge:
It probably won't earn it's price easily, but it breaks up any monotony that appears by opening up new minigames. Fun minigames.

We seem to have 5 vessels, according to the "Where are my vessels?" button, but only two of them are in the Jade archipelago, where we decided we'd move to.  Kinda odd.  Also, they're referred to as "pillages", or frequently "pillies" for short.  I don't know if we will have one soon, because I don't think we have a competent battle navigator with non-cruddy internet yet...

I might create an account and join up with you guys. If anyone receives a PM from a guy named "JFH" or "Jayfh" then that's definitely me. You guys'll probably want one of the best sailors on Hunter to help you out.

Third best Grandmaster Sailor!

Do it motherfucker.

And we better start writing up rules for advancement and our proper public statement.

For advancement:

Cabin Person - N/A
Pirate - 1 Broad
Officer - Narrow BNav
Fleet Officer - ?
Senior Officer - ?

I think that stat-based advancement is ick.  In my opinion, it should be all on merit, not what your info says.

Pretty much, but that would require people to actually pay attention to each other.

I suppose CP->Pirate could be stat-based, though.

Bah, I set everyone from B12 as officer anyways. I'll prop up Senior Officers and oligarchy when someone gives me a list of people they think should be in the commanding staff.  :P

I agree on the merit based promotions.

Though If we start accepting general populace keeping bay12ers a rank ahead of everybody might be good.

Edit:

Also we should totally pitch in our booty and get a house for us all.

I have a bungalow at dragons nest, for 5k I'll set one of you guys as my roommate and you can take one of the rooms I'll have the other. Currently my house is set as hearties and crew members can enter without knocking but since it doesn't have much in it theres not much reason to go in really.
