I am currently novice/legendary at foraging, due to expeditions.  o.O  It jumped from master to legendary in two sessions earlier, somehow.  I guess I'm just that good?  =P

Boat Murderers, it is. Firing up PP...

EDIT:Argh! Boxes to put text in!

Okay, booty shares will be Even. Our public statement will be "We need a slogan!", but, what should be our restocking cut for ships? 20% is the default.
Also, what should we say in our extended public statement and private statement, respectively?  ???

EDIT2: Okay, we can all change this later. I'm setting up placeholders for the statements (We really need a slogan!). Crew B12 is go!

From what I know, crews put their general info in the extended info box like what is required for crew advancements, what their job is, and other stuff like that.

Just got my second incredible, it was at sailing and I honestly don't know how I got it. I had 1 puzzle where I did ok but nothing special a second where I managed to chain a triple and then another that I totally booched but about halfway through the booched one I got a progress report saying incredible.

My first incredible was at treasure haul but that is easy.

Oh wow, Puzzle Pirates. I used to play this a long long time ago, back when Midnight was the only ocean. It's awesome to see how much has changed. Guess I'm in.

Edit: Erm, if it will let me play, that is. Apparently my client was so old that the auto-updater completely botched itself. Good thing the game is tiny, so it shouldn't take long for me to reinstall.

Hmmm just had a good log in session, after getting my incredible sailing with the navy I went pillaging and we got attacked by a ship full of monkeys earning us "The Brotherhood of the Bronze Pineapple" trophy, we then plundered another ship and earned the location of a sunken wreck, directly beneath us =p.

Can anyone give me tips on buying stuff? I hate trying to figure out what mix of enamels cost the least in a sword and rather annoyed by the delivery cost.

Go to the commodities market at the island you're planning on buying from and look at the prices of enamels there.  Obviously, the more expensive the enamel is, the more expensive the finished product with that enamel will be.

The delivery costs will always be there, considering that Viridian is a doubloon ocean.  Some swords have higher delivery costs than others, though.  Foils don't have a delivery cost, but then again, you start with a foil, so if you're looking for an upgrade, that wouldn't matter much.

If you want a sword, yell in an inn until someone sells you one. It'll be probably old, but then, it IS a sword.

Logging in. Send me a tell, perhaps?

I'm a little confused by the strategy.  What's the encouragement to make large combos?  Particularly with sailing, it's easy to fill up the board clear things, but not always obvious whether it's better to take 3-4 extra turns to get a few extra lines.

Combos are your best friends, because they give you MAJOR points. Especially in sailing, when you should take the most time you can to build up the laegzst combo possible, that'll net you an auto-incredible or at least an excellent for a while.

In bilging, combos are the heart of the game. Don't do combos anf you'll make a fine at best.

In carpenting, not so much. It's just making masterpieces and masterpieces.

Etc. In all the puzzles, combos are your best friends. (Perhaps not in blacksmithing.)

EDIT: Some dude called Zenci proposed to me to join their flag. Yeaaaah.

Thoughts?

EDIT2: Whoop-tee-doo. Due to rank shenaningans, stuff is blocked until EJ logs in.
