On those who change their avatars multiply, and with out real reasons

Like me! Even though I know people from their avis too :P

So, what do you think of them? I'm going to rant tomorrow, since it's 0:10 am here...

It's always a little off-putting when someone changes their avatar. There are IMO 2 kinds of people who have avatars:
1. those who change it so rarely, or in such a small way as to be almost un-noticable (I'm thinking of Aqizzar mostly, but i think most of us are in this catagory)
2. those who change it often. I've noticed that even they usually stick to a general theme.

Some months ago I tried changing my avatar to a rather disappointing rendition of Ben via the City of Heroes character maker.  It didn't go over well at all.  Conversely, this green bearded Ben drew only a couple comments, but I'm not quite as active as I used to be.

I do miss a few long time avatars.  Like Umiman's guy-typing-in-a-vat-of-pudding, and Sniper Joe's frogs (dammit).

I stopped using that avatar because people always used it to assume I was being sacarstic or cruel when I was just being neutral.

I actually like umimans new avatar, I think it suits him better.

Heh, I always get a little shocked when I get mentioned fondly like that. XD But yeah, new avatar because I haven't been as into frogs as usual.

Also I miss IWMs Flan. She's cool.

I will never change my DF avatar [even tho, I had a static Balrog image before I discovered this .gif]...yeah..because the Balrog is so awesome!  :D :P

I don't have a theme, I either make my own(crappy) ones, or I use something that's been on my mind alot recently.
