Don't worry, I'm going to die form lung cancer real soon.  Karma sucks.

But it doesn't inhale.

Sorry about your friend jackrabbit, I hope everything turns out for the better and she makes it. It wouldn't be the first time that doctors tell someone they have a month to live and end up being wrong by several years.

My cat was diagnosed with leucemia and the vet said she had 6 months to live.  Turns out she lived for 6 years!   ;)

Don't worry about using the forum as a place to vent. It's always good to talk, to get it out, because it'll make you feel better, and then you have all the wonderful people of Bay12 to help you with your prayers.

I hope your friend survives, and I hope you get to talk and play with her once more.

First ten minutes of play I ate my loincloth and then got some limbs torn off by a super friendly rat. Thumbs up from me.

Hope for the best mate, haven't had anybody I know die of cancer yet. Except our last Rottweiler that died of it.

A good friend of mine died of cancer in April after battling it for four years. We were a long distance apart, too, so you and your friend definitely have my sympathies.

Well, yeah, we all die eventually. But cancer is the worst way to go :(

Nah, the worst way to die is AIDS.

EVERYTHING can kill you, you just don't know when (It could be THIS VERY MINUTE, or THE END OF THE CENTURY)

for me, anyway.

You can say that about normal death. People have been killed in robbery gunfights or sudden car accidents. And some don't. Cancer kills you slowly and painfully as your own body turns against you :(

Can't go past without saying I am sorry for you and your friend and hope that things turn out for the best . Let's pray that the doctors were wrong  :(

Since she's almost certainly going to die, I hope it's quick for her sake.

True, however I am pretty sure that "immortality" will be a reality one day. Immortality lies in the genes.  ;)

Uuh...
I feel sorry for you, Jack, really.

I have prayed for her safety, may our wish is granted by the Creator!
Armok? Well, my grandmother died of cancer. I barely knew her, but it was still sad...
