ok, not sure how to use DFMapCompressor or put PoI in DF Map Archive....

Alright.  I'm downloading.  Will compress and upload shortly.

The compression process is kinda complicated, but not impossible:

-While in DF, press Esc to go to the menu
-Select "Export Local image"
-From the Export Local image screen, press E to export images
-When complete, exit DF
-Run the DF Map Compressor
-Click "Compress images to .fdf-map file"
-Select one of the exported images of your fortress (they will be in the root DF directory)
-Select a place to save the .fdf-map file
-Wait for compressor to finish.  It may give you several error messages.  Just click okay on each one and everything will be fine.
-Upload file to DFMA
-Profit!

Go and add PoI.  PoI are very simple to add:

-On the DFMA, drag the map around until the cursor (the red box in the center) is over the thing you want to highlight. 
-Click "Add a Point of Interest" (located just below the map)
-A Dialogue box will pop up asking for information.  Feed it.  FEED IT!
-Click "Add" when done
-View PoI

Also, Samus build on floor 3, not floor 4.  We skipped Quote's save.  Check out the maps on DFMA.

Ah, I just kept checking the map where I have quote's floor listed as PoI.  When and why did you skip quote?

Well, Quote only did one season, and we skipped the person after Quote.

So maybe someone downloaded the wrong save in confusion?

That would be me..  and I've been meaning to ask you a question--do you mind if we build supports on other levels?  I'd like to build up, but I'd also like to spread out a little more (in particular, I'd like to build something off that unfinished elevated corridor to the upper right).  I'm not so much talking about load-bearing supports, either, more just some pillars to keep shit from looking goofy in 3dwarf.

Also, would I be allowed to in a hypothetical situation pump magma up to my level? I'm guessing flooding the lower levels is a big nono?

I think I said yes to this in the beginning.  Try and avoid building on the other players' floors as much as you can, and don't leave them unplayable.
