To Xaque, Legon:  It looks like you don't have tombs.  Would you like me to build tombs for you on my level?  I'm doing one for myself, so I thought I would just ask.  It would add to the ambience :)

(Especially Xaque, since he's done like half of the mining on my level)
Sounds good to me :)

And this is how tinned food was invented.
Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.
Just so I remember

Any preferences?  Otherwise, I'll just go by your character's preferences.

Character preferences sound like a good idea.

Sure. A bridge-themed tomb would earn you bonus points :D

I wonder what pushed it over into a new age.  I assume no one killed any megabeasts or anything like that?

Yetch, I am five whole turns off, I hope the following people are nice and fast, I need to try too decide what I am going to do on my turn, and then constantly revise it as people fill that part of the fortress's need.

(Didn't get me this time "Too", I managed to use the correct word this time!)

Yeah, I'm going to have to move the Trade Depot to my level, so that someone can't pull another legolord. After some consideration, I've decided it'd be better if the trade depot was moved to ark's level, Ark, sign up for another turn man.

I certainly didn't.  I don't think legolord did.  Perhaps it was the extra dwarf population?

12th of Hematite: The human representative has arrived!  I requested various surface seeds, since I heard some people are into such things.

19th of Hematite: The caravan has arrived as well.  There was a suspicious amount of elven goods and clothes around the depot.  I sold those to the humans, in exchange for lots of metal and some other goods.

25th of Hematite: With leather from the humans, the fey dwarf has complete a magnificent amulet.  He is now demonstrating a great skill at engraving.

13 of Galena: I have ordered tombs costructed for Legon, Xaque, and myself.  Hopefully they will be finished in time.

1st of Limestone: Whoa, I just received word that farmers need more potash to fertilize the fields.  We're fertilizing?!?  We have more than enough food already and need the potash for other things.

15th of Limestone: The dwarven caravan has arrived along with the liason.  Hmm, what shall we get?

----------

So what shall I get?  Last chance, people

More food! We can never have enough food!! Fertilize those fields damn you! Also, whip vine flour is the most valueble type of flour, hence the reason I want it.

Also, food, lots of it.

When plants are rotting in the fields, I believe we have enough food.  In any case, I need pearlash for ... certain things.

Not to mention the barrel shortage, leading directly to the booze shortage.

Yes we nearly ran out of booze for that very reason.  But the humans brought a lot.
