Something I started doing  a while ago was making a "Hall of Legends" Basically a room full of storehouses where "Craftsmanship" was set to only Artifact level, and nixing that everywhere else.  The upshot is whenever someone makes an Artifact it goes on display in the room for all too see.

Recently however i made a fatal error. Expanding a "Finished goods" storearea, I neglected to set "bins" to zero.  The next time i checked in, to my horror all of the various nicknacks, idols, bracelets, along with all Armour made had been whisked away into a bin. I quickly set the spot to "No bins" Hoping they would be taken out, instead the bin was moved elsewhere.  Ive check every stock pile, not a single one has "Artifact" level enabled, the bin shouldn't have gone ANYwhere except back to the artifact room.. And now, ive got a total of 6 Artifacts that I cannot locate... Help?

Can you zoom to them via the stock screen?

- Go to the 'z' status screen
- Go to the 'stocks' section
- Find the right category
- Hit 'tab' to expand the list into individual items
- Highlight an artifact, hit 'c'

Pressing <l> shows all artifacts in the Fort. That is L btw.

Use the post above me combined with the post above it to cross reference the names and item types of your artifacts to quickly locate them in the stock screen.

Or just dump the bin. As long as the objects inside aren't marked for dumping, it should work.
