Some may find that offensive.
Kiddie?
Yeah yeah, anyone can find anything offensive.
To clarify, I was wondering what you mean by the Nintendo as I was a bit surprised at the number of younger people getting into this game despite not playing the earlier generation games.

Edit: same as below

Nintendo fans=kiddies

Oh I see. Could try to be a bit less cold next time. No hard feelings huh? :D

I didn't think kiddie was offensive.
Nintendo isn't that bad.

Edit:Finally understood what he was talking about. I'm starting to feel dumb...

I think the mere fact that this forum isn't TOO well known and the difficulty curve for Dwarf Fortress is painfully steep acts as a pretty good "XD LOL RANDUM" filter. Adjective is as adjective does, anyway.

I be 19, heard about boatmurdered years ago, lol'd my ass off, but was skeptical and eventually forgot about it. Early in 2009 a friend of mine started playing it and wrote awesome stories of the dwarves she had named after me and some other people, and eventually i decided to try it and got hooked.

Yeah we have another teenager here. Any statement which says "most young people" is going to be as wrong as any statement saying "most adults". Despite what the general populace think we don't act as a hive mind.

Most young people are under 18 years of age.(depending on your definition of "young")

Most adults are over the age of 18. What I meant was that saying "most young people" about something which doesn't isn't an attribute of all "young people" (e.g Most young people have no time for retro games) is like saying "most adults watch mostly crime shows". A "young person" is going to be as likely to fit to the norm as an adult is, I'm not saying that many teenagers aren't a mass of nerves desperate to get approval from their peers, I think many adults are as well they just hide it better. But I think you knew that and were just trying to make a joke.

Oh and 17 here if you want an actual age.

23......didn't think there were so many kiddies on here.
Welcome to the internet.

I'd be interested in seeing if there is a correlation of age and graphic pack usage...
I have my own theories about the elitism -err, I mean loyalty associated with the ASCII graphics and age.
