I don't know the details. I didnt ask. I just know, about a week ago, my parents were waiting eagerly for something, and then there was a six year old on the doorstep, and apparently she is my "new sister". I think they ordered her from the government, but I'm not sure.

Anyways, so suddenly there is a brand new six year old. Luckily, I like six year olds, and am thus one of three people in the family able to tolerate her for more than a few moments. I'm just glad they found a way to skip the baby step.

Do you have ANY idea how strange that sounds?

And even stranger, how blasé (indifferent/uninterested) you are reacting to this event?

It's very easy to order one from the stork corporation, though the delivery time for the package is not the best.

On a related note, would you mind explaining more your situation ? Are your parents welcoming a child from a poor family for the summer, or something rational ?

I seem to remember disturbing things about a scenario much like that... Hmm...

Mail order six year old's huh? I guess that's one step forward for skynet... *Sigh*

It's the other way around with dwarfs, if they're sober, then they'll dance.

Okay, apparently they ordered her from some sort of foster building? I don't know exactly how it works, but they give like parameters and then a kid arrives? They've apparently been working on it for six months or so, and only just got a kid, but of course I lived on the other side of the planet until a few weeks ago. I'm 23. Anyways, all I knew when I got home was that a kid would be arriving, I didn't ask details, and a week and a half later a six year old girl showed up. Which is about a week ago now, I think. So now I have a sister, though I guess that might be temporary? I don't know how this stuff works. Anyways, pretty cool to have around I guess. I guess that answers all the questions?

But more importantly - I am working on the new comics! Should be a twofer to get back in the swing of things.

You've stayed with our hero as he built a fort, scrabbled together resources, and fought off the savage creatures of the land.
You've wept, cried, and laughed as he's made friends, witnessed the aftermath of diabolical crimes, and built a still.
Now, stay tuned for the next chapter in the thrilling story of Moldath Burnwound, "Chapter 4: Rescue Attempt?"
And for those who aren't already on the edge of their seats, in this exciting chapter, the longest yet in the series,
SOMEONE. WILL. DIE.
