Big Bad Thread of Games to Play Before You Die

Okay, guys, let's see what you all count as "games to play before you die". My list would be:

Baldur's Gate II
Planescape: Torment
King of Dragon Pass
Dwarf Fortress ( WINK WINK )
Dungeon Keeper
Fallout 2
Knights of the Old Republic

I could go on, but that'd just be taking it away from all of you. So, what would you count as games that should be played by EVERYONE?

I say we agree on only adding 3 to the list each, seems like a nice number.

Sacrifice was fun for a bit, but I'd personally have preferred it if they'd stuck to their original design idea, which was to have "tribes" conquer each other's shrines. Kind've like a god game RTS.

EDIT: Anyone know of any games like this: http://www.jowood.com/?lang=en&site=2&gameid=thenations&pfid=PC by the way? It says it's like a strategy game, but it's more of a town-running game. I can't remember any games that were really similar to it.

Myst 1, 2, and 3. The ending of 3 is particularly moving, IMO, and meeting someone in the game is always startling. To say the least. That's not even getting in to the gameplay.

DAMN I love JoWood!

Figures that they would make a moderately interesting game using rules that hardly anyone thinks of using. (ie, Europa 1400)

xcom 1,2, apoc
Civ 2 (others are added bonus points)
Jagged Alliance (full series)
Tie Fighter
Kings Quest (pretty much the entire series)
Ultima: 7, 7 part 2
Ultima: underworld
Fallout 1 and 2
Wolfenstein 3d
And I'm sure I'll think of some more soon...

EDIT:
Baldur's Gate 2 (1 is added bonus)
Command and Conquer (original) (I generally dislike RTS's, but this shoudl still be on list)
