Legendaries
« on: June 21, 2009, 02:31:38 am »

I noticed a rather surprising (in a good way) thing: a large percentage aof my dwarves have several legendary social skill! I swear, I didn't mod this in. It was probably caused by making my dwarves idle and gossip for years (literally) on end. Anyone else have similar things happen to them?

Yeah, in my longer lasting forts it's very common to see all the soap/cheese/lye makers and such people who I am too busy to kill to become legendary trashtalkers and timewasters.

If human capabilities worked like dwarf fortresses skill leveling, teenage girls could beat a truck into a thin paste.

I left a peasant idle for a year with multiple other workers.  He eventually started flashing like a legendary.  But he was a peasant.  Social skills, boy, social skills.

Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.
