This Felt Dwarfy
« on: June 20, 2009, 08:47:35 pm »

In this thread, post your quotes and pictures and clips that seem dwarfy. I'll start. This is the last part of a D&D story from a different forum.

Awesome.  Nothing like killing with non-lethal damage.

The backup mayor is the best, though.

I don't have a screenshot unfortunately (because it was always pitch black when I was there) but in Wurm online, I was in an isolated out of place area, far from fresh water or a reliable source of food. But there was some rock. Being a DF player I knew what I had to do. Several weeks later I had driven a 45 degree shaft down to the water table. There was only a couple of inches of it, but it was fresh water, and you could fish in it.

I remarked to my fellow players it was the second game in which I had successfully mined for fish.

I love it! :D

The above post is the snipped end of a thread about railroading on the giant in the playground forums. For those of you who don't know, Railroading is when the DM is very insistent on his plot being followed and gives the players few/no options and makes them feel as though they aren't playing a game so much as just listening to him read from his latest book. For example, when the players decide to kill the mayor...

Also, someone made me this avatar as a result of that thread.

My brother and his mate were playing some DnD ripoff, not sure what it was.

Anyhow, my brother was some insecty thing with six arms. His mate was a half-Giant.

They went to some arena place. The level of the opponent was determined with the roll of a d20.

20.

My brother and his friend were level 3.

Anyhowe, there was no way to back out, so my brother goes and tries not to die too messily, failing miserably. His friend Tyler decides to make a called critical on the level 20 dwarf's groin.

Another natural 20.

DM ruled that the dwarf and all his equipment had exploded, EXCEPT for his testicles.
