Not lucid but the other day I had a Dream I was on this space station, mainly focused around this docking area and we were trying to get off it but were stuck, I can't remember the details but it ended with me somehow getting a ship through the docks lockdown so we (there was a group of us) could board it then we escaped.

 what if all the people in your dream were actually real people who happened to be dreaming about the same thing, thusly making your dreams... for a lack of better words... multiplayer?

I noticed whenever I sleep at my friend's house, I get woken up by their parrots in the morning. If I dream, they will be in it.

The most common theme I see among those of you who described your lucid dream experiences, is nightmarish turns when trying to control things.  I've seen this described a lot when I've read about lucid dreaming in the past.  Many of you seem pretty well read on this subject, but nobody else has mentioned this so I'll go ahead.

Dreams are supposed to be direct communication between your subconscious and conscious mind, right?  Your conscious mind has completely control all day, and at night it's the opposite.  From what I've read and basic logical inferrence, I imagine taking lucid control of your dreams is like shouting over your subconscious when it's trying to speak.  It resents this, and responds with nightmares.  Most things I read about lucid dreams really stress that the more you "go with the flow", the more enjoyable they tend to be.  I don't think that means giving up lucidity, just avoid struggling against yourself for domination of the dreamscape.

Dreams are either playing back and refining memories or interpretation of random noise. I've gotten good at controlling dreams, so I always remember that I can change the dream at will.

I've had lucid dreams for as long as I can remember. I trained myself to notice the absence of reality, in order to control my dreams. Results were sometimes awesome, sometimes dreadful. But one thing keeps buggering me: certain eye-lid movements in the real world throw me out of each and every dream I´m trying to control! And while I can control my dreams quite effectively, the moment I realize that if my real eyes move in a certain way I`m gonna be "jacked out", it happens. Bloody buggers. Hrmpf.

I've noticed sexy dream encounters have been more lucid with passing age, experience, and self-esteem (over the past three or four years).

I also noticed the less I try to change, and the more I deny it's a dream, the more likely the dream continues. I hate to use the analogy, but it's like throwing glitches in the matrix, the more you mod it, the higher chance it has to crash and burn.

Had a few 'OBEs' this morning, all quite vivid, but I had little control outside of myself. I had to be less direct and assume that something would be where it is. They all started with me rolling out of bed blind until I pushed through my bedroom wall. From there I went outside, and each time my yard and house were slightly different. They all ended when I traveled a certain distance from my house or if I started to worry that I might consider the dream and then lose it.

I remember listening to this one conspiracy theorist radio show and they had this lucid dreaming guy on and proposed that you could bring others into your dreams and have group-dream sessions, seemed kinda bullshit though.
