Wow, I did not have a night mare since I was 12 untill now/yesterday when I tried to lucid dream.
When I fell asleep I did not realize that I was dreaming, I was in my house, it was all very dark, I found a lightswitch which decided to not work, after I tried to turn on the light and failed horrible horrible things happened and well lets just say I will not try to turn on the light again when its dark in my dreams.  :-\

Did Cthulhu show up in your dreams, because he did in mine, and had to make a sanity roll...

I had an awesome dream last night.  It totally involved dinosaurs, some big place, and hand-to-hand gun combat with slomotion effects.  One skill I need to work is to remember actual details and not just a summary of what I can scrap up when I wake up.

A Summary? Lucky one! If i remember a dream i usually remember most of it. But then i tend to focus on one or two things and before i can write it down i have forgotten the rest.

I rarely can remember anything at all about my dreams... Occasional bits and pieces is about it.

I have a fair few lucid dreams via waking up slowly because my job allows me to wake up when I want, though I have only had 1 single lucid dream that I entered into on purpose. However, how I got into it was quite odd. You know the advice about light switches and how they never work in dreams? I was reading about that literally just before I went to sleep, had my laptop in bed, and then in my dream my subconcious sort of went to the extreme, and I was in a hallway with thousands of lights of all kind and a lightswitch, I switched it, and realised I was dreaming and became lucid, however, the lights worked. Which is weird, but also cool since I had an epic lucid dream that night :P

I totally possessed a baseball player last night.  Awesome.  I stole a car and hehehehe.

NOTE:  If you possess a left-handed baseball player you do better with your left hand.

I fought some robots (Looking like the necrons of warhammer 40k) while mounted on a dragon.

No lucid dream but still pretty awesome, or?  8)

Okay, aside from boring dreams that mess me up because later I can't remember if it dreamed it or if it actually happened because of how mundane it was, I've only remembered one dream over the last several weeks, and it was short and ended with me getting attacked by boars.

So clearly, I need to start doing something to spice up my dream life, so I'm going to try to go back on Lucid Dreaming tonight. Unfortunately, I can't think of anything to dream about, which I'm sure is a large part of why they've been so forgettable and boring. MY mind is just dead.

Hmm...

Any suggestions?

Imagine that in order to SAVE THE WORLD you must GATHER fellow BAY 12 PEOPLE to fight the GIANT ROBOT in BUFFALO and prevent it from killing ELI MANNING, who is the KEY to the STARGATES that lead to the FUTURISTIC town of NEW EDEN. There you will find a CHEST with TOADY'S REAL NAME on it. OPEN this chest, and inside you will find a LONGSWORD +1. EQUIP the LONGSWORD and bring down the KING. INSTALL YOURSELF upon the THRONE in the CASTLE, and announce yourself RULER OF ALL WORLDS AND SOME OTHER THINGS AS WELL!

Hmm.. well, that didn't work.

I did end up dreaming about Liberal Crime Squad stuff and remembering it though, and my subconcious even remembered to include some forumites and a sword. No lucidity, however.

I will attempt it again tonight. Lets have a contest! First to lucid dream the scenario wins. (stretch those mental muscles!)

I didn't have a lucid dream, but after taking 6/20/50mg of melatonin/b6/theanine, I did have a very long, detailed, and coherent dream.  If I could have become lucid it would've been the best dream ever.

Well, no lucid dreaming, but a weekend of poor sleep has certainly brought the hypnagogic hallucinations back.

Hmm... Do those actually count as Lucid dreaming, I wonder? Since I know it isn't real, but reality is bending and warping around me in odd ways, even though I'm still technically capable of interacting with the world.
