I sometimes have dreams that take place in the same place but with different outcomes, one example was that I was in a fort and me and my whole class were FIGHTAN BATTLAN TRADAN fighting das enemy. A really helpful tip to fall asleep is to try to get a clear image of a really complex picture in my brain.

I often cant' remember if something happened in a dream or real life, as long as it's something mundane. A few days ago the guy at the cash register at Wawa complimented my leather jacket, and then I had a dream where someone complimented my shoes. For a while I couldn't remember which one actually happened. Anybody else have this? I'm just hoping it doesn't get worse as I get old.

I had a few days ago where I killed one person who cut off someone's hand, and the person who's hand was cut off.

I had a dream this guy was killing people cutting each other's hands off.  I was like "Whatever" and shot him.

I had a dream where I was killed, came back as a zombie and ate the guy with the non-chalant attitude who was shooting people.

I have lucid dreams sometimes - I most often enter one in the deepest point of my sleep, I reckon. A good solid 8 hours every night will get you into a good sleep cycle, and you should be able to pounce on your dream's fallacies as you will be more aware of your surroundings in dreams.

Another thing of note is that when IN a lucid dream, make sure you tell yourself to wake up after the dream finishes - otherwise, you won't remember it very well.

Remember to write down your dreams, lucid and non-lucid alike so that you have better recall: you might have had countless lucid dreams, but forgot all of them.

EDIT: I also had this one dream where I was blowing the heads off of zombies with a sawn-off shotgun. One zombie attacked this guy who was like "Pff, whatever" all the time.

My lucid dreaming comes from thinking about a topic before I fall asleep, and if I'm sufficiently tired enough, I enter that sort of happy, almost drunken feeling that slowly makes an elaboration go from active contemplation to passive.

This sometimes happens in the morning, waking up and then sleeping in

My recent dreams have been so dull.
Last night, I had a dream where my neck was frozen in place, preventing me from turning my head. I couldn't move one bit, and I couldn't see what was keeping me restrained. In front of me, it looked like I was falling into a tunnel made of rainbows and snakes. Or was it rainbow snakes?
Either way, with the tunnel undulating, things would pass by me. Too blurry to make anything out, though.
Then I woke up with the sound of something shattering.

I had a lucid dream last night, I could only hold it for a minute or so though.

Happens to me 1-3 times a week. Rarely do I have LDs longer than that anymore. *sigh*

I had another one recently, and one last night, it looks like I'm starting to get back into a groove.

The one all I remember is being outside at night, and looking up at the moon.

The moon was this rich brown color, like it was coated in a thick layer of molasses.  It was only a partial moon, not full, but instead of being a nice clean divide between light and dark like a normal partial moon it looked more like the moon was floating in ink, with just a bit popping out, you could see the darkness shifting around it.  Was crazy, man.

I reached out and tried to pull it to me.  It got a little bit bigger but I couldn't bring it all the way to me.

The other one was a WILD.  As soon as I woke up I felt myself getting dragged back in.  I started getting panicky, my recent WILDs haven't been pleasant, as I've detailed before.  I tried to keep myself calm, and when I landed in the bed I started moving in slow motion.  I rubbed my face thinking "There's nothing scary there's nothing scary nothing can hurt me in a dream" and as soon as I opened my eyes this wave of sheer terror hit me, I yelled, and I immediately woke up.

Something about dreams makes me really nervous, and it doesn't take much to scare me awake.

Had another dream last night, not lucid until right as I was waking up, but it was pretty crazy so I'll share it.

I was at my parents' house for some reason, and was going to go somewhere with my mother and siblings.  We all got into the car except my sister, who seemed to be having trouble grasping the concept of "getting into the car"  My mom's getting irritated when my sister finally figures it out, but tries to get into the driver's seat with my mom.

My mom tells her she can find her own way wherever we're going, and shuts the door on her.

Oh, I remember, we were all going to go buy video games.  That must have really sucked for my sister, to get kicked out of the video game trip.  What sucked more was there was a bear in the driveway.  As we're driving away I'm like "Hey mom, you know you just left her with a bear, right?"  My mom yells "Noo!" as the bear starts getting aggressive.  Around this point I felt myself shifting around and woke up.

I always seem to have more lucid dreams if I doze off in my computer chair... earlier today I dozed off and had a half-lucid dream where I was at some sort of school reunion... can't remember well enough though.

Also a few months ago I had a dream that I was playing Empire Total War... I just bought ETW the other day and it will be finished downloading next week.

Strangely this is not the first time I've dreamed something that ended up happening later, the first time was dreaming about a fire and a couple years later our barn burning down.
