I'm oddly immune to alarms. It takes a guy shaking me in my bed to wake me.

 I'm a heavy sleeper.

Well then you better go catch it!

Wait, that didn't work.

That joke fell apart right in your mouth. It didn't even need to crash land, it just came out broken.

Well then you better sleep on the moon to lower your weight by 1/6!

Well then I'd better rig a contraption to keep me in a state of free-fall while I sleep, as to decrease my weight thanks to the nature of free-fall and the illusion of weight.

That's why you have a pile of hippies/elves below you, to break your fall.

Has anyone else ever slept with the TV on, and had their dreams (with me its only the END of the dream, right when I'm about to wake up) influenced by what's playing on it?

My TV is always on when I'm asleep. It sometimes happens.

I have really deep dreams every time, most of the time I remember, and the few I forget is because when I awaken I sometimes concentrate on something else immediately, rather than reflecting on the dream.

If you have the time, when you wake, don't fully wake (Don't open your eyes, for example). Keep your brain relatively calm and keep breathing normally. Don't stretch, don't move. Just. Relax. And enjoy controlling the dream.

Think of something simple to happen at first, then a quick event/storyline. Works for me, t'is fun. :)

...Oddly enough, some of these tend to be sexual fantasies, and that, my friends, is fun. :D

Today I had my first lucid dreams in a while. I had about three during a half-hour nap:

1. The nonsensical one: I was in a rectangular gym with huge stairs on every side. I was pushing slightly shiny grey-blue featureless cylinders for no apparent reason. Someone cheered, adding to my confusion.

2. The pleasant one: I was lying on the couch (the same one I fell asleep in) and heard the most tantalizing music ever. I wanted to investigate the source, but was afraid that, if it was a dream (which it was) I'd wake up if I opened my eyes.

3. The horrific one: I realised that I had a nosebleed (a rare occurence). blood gushed out of my nose like ketchup from a fat man's bottle. When my father came to investigate the screams, he got a nosebleed too. The nother people came and got more nosebleeds...

Then I woke up.
Yeah, so, dreaming ain't always nice.

He ultimately wakes up, but then it becomes a game of charades over what you need from him whilst talking through the glass. Meanwhile, a cue is forming behind you. A cue of MURDERERS! With DIFFERENT WEAPONS!" -Eddie Izzard speaking about late-night petrol (gas) station shopping
