Your friends support you back onto the stool, but you get off again (Luck Roll=4) and you manage to maintain your balance after a moment of dizziness. Before you leave, one of your friends passes you a phone number and and an address written on a slip of paper. You thank him and leave, heading towards Pastor Frank's hospital in the St. George Church.
(Luck Roll=1) As you're walking along, you see a small bar called Tom's Tavern. You step inside, and soon forget about getting your medications as you down several more drinks. (Luck Roll=1) As you down yet another drink, you see the pale man and a massive bodyguard stroll into the bar. You sigh again, downing a shot as you watch the FreeVee behind the counter. You listen carefully as the host explains that for every inch deep your grave is, you win 10 NewBucks, you have two hours to dig your own grave, and for every minute you stay under, you cash reward is multiplied! You watch as a fellow named Urist drops into his four foot grave, almost a record breaker, and has the dirt piled onto him. The other contestants drop into their three and two foot graves. Five minutes of silence later...Ten minutes of silence later, and the scrawny contestant who had dug the two foot hole bursts out, panting and cursing! A moment later(U's Luck Roll=6!), Urist bursts from his grave with a frantic scream! The crowd cheers, and a team of diggers start digging up the final contestant's grave, and a moment later, they pull out an ashen faced corpse.
You turn away from the FreeVee as Urist is handed his cash reward, and you notice to your horror that two cops have entered the bar. You get off your stool(Drunkness Roll=6!) and as you get off, the stool topples over! The two cops promptly walk over to you and set it straight, and one looks you over and says, "Excuse me, sir, but how do you plan to get home? You certainly can't drive."
The second cop looks over you(Detection Roll=1!!!) and his eyes widen as he takes a step back. (Fast Reflexes Roll=6!) You waste no time in drawing your pistol out. The firstt cop rapidly draws out his revolver as he screams, "IT'S FENNETH!"
Combat!You quickly fire a shot from your Glock!

Your shot rams into the second cop's shoulder, neatly disabling him as he drops to the ground and screams in pain!

The shot hits you in the stomach, and you curse as your clothes start turning red. You face your last foe and fire...

The shot hits Cop A in the forehead, and blows out the back of his head. He drops to the ground, dead, as you fire a shot at the comatose Cop B. It hits him in the stomach, and he groans. The second shot hits him in neck, and he stops moving as blood bubbles out of the hole.
You stagger to the door, and start to weakly run. (Luck Roll=2) A cop car screams around the corner and four cops get out, yelling something about shots reported. (Luck Roll=5!) The cops all run into the bar and don't notice you as you slip into an alley and run.
You make it back to your apartment, and going up one of the escape routes you found earlier, you safely arrive at your apartment window and slide it open, dropping in. Your clothes are dirty and bloodstained,(Bleed Roll=2) and your wound is still bleeding. You feel lightheaded as you make your way to your stash and pull out a t-shirt, using it as a bandage before swallowing your medication.
You crawl to your bed and sit on it, the wound a steady, aching, pain. You stand up and go retrieve your First Aid Kit, replacing the t-shirt for a real bandage, and soaking the wound in disinfectant. It hurts like a bitch, but you stay strong. You pop three painkillers, and you go back to sitting on your bed, the first aid kit beside you.
