Creature Moding GUI

I didn't want to bump it due to it being nearly 1 year old, but I need to know.

Whatever happened to it? It was a brilliant idea, and it wouldn't be impossibly hard to do.

I'm slightly tempted to do such a thing, but I've not got the patience to understand how everything goes together.

I'd really like to see a civilization editor which includes/explains common problems like "you must pick these things if you want a civilization to come trade with you".

There are tons of good programmers on this forum, why can't one of them do this simple task?

Because right now it's a really stupid idea.

Sorry to be so harsh, but that's just it.  Toady is reworking creatures for the next release and to make a utility that you KNOW will be obsolete the very instant the update comes out qualifies as a stupid waste of time to most programmers.

That being said, it isn't quite as easy as you seem to think it is.

Well excuse me, asshole. I was never aware of any of this, and apparently you are the only person who was willing to tell me.
