I saw it more as a list of desirable qualities.
Armok: I'd have to see some of the theoretical tech behind this to make a call. It is suitable for a "space fighter" but... I dunno, something about those arms makes me hesitant. They look vulnerable.
Most of the tech I have gotten from somewhere, the only ones that are not standard stuff is the claytronics (read about how a primitive version of it is currently being developed) and the plasma thingy (got that from the webcomic Schlock(sp?) mercenary).
It is a spacefight in the sense it can propel itself and fight, it wouldn't have much of a chance against a specialized fighter, but if if you have superiority in numbers, or you're up against civilian craft, or have some other advantage, it can make do. it's really a better atmospheric fighter thou.
the arms are indeed a weak point, I mentioned that in the original post, that is why they are attached in a way that wont let the damage spread if they are harmed, and that makes them relatively easy to replace. Also, it's good at dodging.
Armok, you are either making a very elaborate joke, or you know almost nothing about a whole lot of things.
I'm going to go with the joke option, seeing as how you're talking about there being giraffe girls in Africa.
What do you mean joking? I'm not joking and indeed think it's more realistic than a great deal of things from scifi shows. ANd I wrote giraffe girls becase i'm tired i mean those that put on a right evry year and then when they grow up they get a really long neck and if you remove the rights they cn break their neck i forgot what theyre calld ZZZzzzzz...
