40d11 init question.

Concerning the print mode, i've heard running it in accum or frame buffer without partial printing is useless, so what's the proper way to partial print with frame buffer?

Is it like:

:FRAME_BUFFER:(number)?

I also have a question about 40d11, but it's not about the init. I was just wondering what the 11 was for. On the dowload screen there isn't an 11 on the version number. And for that matter, what's the "d" for? Sorry if this is intrusive.

'd' is the current bugfix number.  The 11 signifies it's the 11th graphics upgraded version.  Version 40d11 is available only from the forums, if you download from the main site you're getting what is effectively version 40d0.

There's that stickied thread, up at the top of this forum.  It says "help test version 40d11".  Go there.

Erm, I think it doesn't have the number.
[PRINT_MODE:PARTIAL:51] is what I use, because I run DF at 250ish FPS and it flickers like mad if the number is much lower.

The number is optional with a few of the print modes.
