I've noticed that sometimes I'll see the blinks of blue on the ground that indicate rain, but there is no notification that it actually is raining.

Of course though, it's not a particularily game affecting bug, but just wanted to make note of it.

Edit: The 'weather has cleared' message did pop up for this particular rain storm, so dunno, maybe another message blocked the 'it has begun raining' message?

Were there actually two "the weather has cleared" messages in the announcement log without a "It has begun raining" message inbetween? You might have missed it, especially if you rely on the prompt at the bottom rather than the log for messages.

I don't think messages can block other messages, if you get multiple messages in the same frame they all get to the log anyway.

Yea, it was two times in a row and I do look at the announcements screen and there wasn't any 'it has begun raining' messages. The only reason I noticed it the first time (it's a new fortress) was because I was getting cancel messages from a floor bieng constructed over a murky pool and I was like 'huh?' because there was no 'it had begun raining' notice.

Anyways, the first year is almost over and the wet season starts soon.

Edit: It's been a rather dry 'wet' season, the only rain has been until late summer. The 'it has begun raining' notice came up like it should.

Edit2: I seem to have not gotten the 'it has cleared up message', but I can tell that the rain has stopped as the pools are drying up.
