I have the strangest feeling that you're all going to end up incarcerated.

Go with chappy to fortifications
Also, yay, a name!
EDIT: I am (apparently) going somewhere tonight (tonight european time)
So.
If railroaded, go with the flow. Continue doing so until railroad ends.
If there is bureaucracy to engage in, engage in it, whilst paying attention to how the fortifications are being built.
If there is nothing to do, watch how the fortifications are being built.
After that:
If on railroad, choo-choo.
If watching builders, suggest improvement to technique/design.
After after that:
I don't know, whatever. Go and have lunch, or something.

Name: Emperor
Description: A small, homeless zefie, who has had to steal to live, at all. He had spent the last few years traveling. Sometimes he killed to live, sometimes not. He will do anything for money, for it was the one thing out of his grasp growing up. He's the practicer of various occult rituals gained through his travels in the human realm. Mostly relating to death.

Use your stealthy skills and don't kill anyone, and you can join the Covert Ops guild!

I wonder how AoR turns are dealt with. Will we get a time skip, or will the entire city suddenly become full of parked goat chariots? Like, poof!, a bunch of people have goat chariots and there are suddenly more archers and stuff.
Sort of like Erfworld.
...
Well, we'll see.

No, you all get your actions extrapolated for the year. There won't be to many chariots running around yet, but that will be changing as the year goes on.

Could I get a Human Refugee?

Name: Olon Uzindurple (Olon Irongloves)
Description: A gruff and brash human, with a loud voice that makes sure everyone hears what he has to say. There are a few scattered scars, one notable being a jagged line over his left eye, and a fair portion of his face. Damnably outspoken, and extremely impatient. That would be Olon. He was a wandering drifter, who had been accepted as a refugee of sorts. He is decently fed, and has a strong build. What he thinks of the puffballs in power here, is that a few of them deserve a good walloping. Still, he yet thinks they show promise.

              Bronze axe
              Iron shortsword
              Buckler
Leather belt with sheath and a few pouches

Spoiler: status (click to show/hide)
Buer: Hot damn that year went by quick. I didn't get a chance to make any revolutionary changes to zefie bueraucracy or engineering either!
Counting grain sounds really boring.
Nevertheless.

I shall go forth to the granary, cash in my 'Head Engineer recommends' ticket, and set to work.
