You mean that lunatic laugh people get when they snap?

And oh how sexy that laugh is...

I concur.

I was going to complain how this had gone of topic, but it seems you've found your way back to the topic on your own...

I actually think games where the characters had realistic simulated emotions and personalitys would be cool. Can you imagine a squad based tactics game where you slowly see your troops succumb or even begin to enjoy the horrors of war?

That'd be so fucking cool. Imagine one based in the Vietnam War, where your transport plane crashes a hundred miles from the nearest American position, deep in Vietcong territory...Imagine the melt-downs!  ;D

Blizzard is managed by dark sorcerers, and probably have enough money to bail-out the federal government.

I'd like to play as the Vietcong.

Realistic simulations would be good, I'd draw the line at sentience (but then, who wouldn't?). Still, I don't think that my troops having personal meltdowns on me would be a good idea for an RTS. Like how it wouldn't be fun in a skating game if your character suddenly got sick of the endless broken bones and scrapings and breaks down.

Dwarf fortress already has a "breaking down" system, albeit a slightly simplistic one.  It's not very likely to actually happen on the battlefield though.
