Just generated a perfectly bisected world.
« on: June 14, 2009, 01:40:40 am »

So I gen a world using the default parameters, and lo and behold, it's cut right down the middle by an ocean.

On the right side, Dwarves, humans, and elves preside.

Across the pond the goblins and orcs decided to settle.

Is this common?

"and unto kilgoretrout it was said 'thou shalt buildeth a great bridge, spanning the continents from whence the tides of men and elves may wage war against the verdant hordes'"

all was well in the world

You must save this world until the world can be greatly affected by your actions, then build the bridge and wage the war against the horde!

Also, I got extremely lucky with finding that, it was about the 20th "region 3" in my recycle bin.

Pretty sweet world there. For those of us playing vanilla, I've found the history seed 254431949 will generate Dwarves, Humans, Elves, Goblins and Kobolds on both sides of the ocean. I'm looking forward to this.

Edit: I may have spoken a bit soon. While there are Elves on the western continent, their civilization is conquered by 180.

Build a bridge and write a story about it.

OR even better, use magma to create an obsidian land bridge.

what you really want is to put the orcish children rate at something ridiculous, 10 or something, and level yourself up as much as possible, retire, with the best addy crap you can get, do this several times and then attack.

(be sure to remove bows from orcs, you will be violated through your eyesockets otherwise.
