m 20 split in 2 squads(10 each)
Available abilties:
Arcing Blow. Attacks 4 squares at the same time. Automatically used by us in melee.
Indirect Fire. Attacks anywhere on the battlefield with a one turn delay(requires leading targets). Used by bowmen.
Available equipment:
Lighter Armor. Reduces us to 7/10 but allows faster movement.
Known enemies:
The Undead
f Fallen. Slow undead shambler. 1/5
R Reaver. Very slow but has Arcing Blow. 7/8
N Necromancer. Can raise Fallen in some occasions, very long range. 2 lives, 3/11
The story so far:
After the attack on our home city, we fled into the wilderness and with all survivors we could find. We enlisted the aid of some mercenaries but were caught in the open by a marauder party while crossing a forest clearing.
Cyan is our deployment zone. Our goal is to reach the edge of the map. Killing the necromancer will reduce the amount of enemies that give chase later. The main enemy force is nearby and will join if we delay too long.
Hints:
-Reavers are predictable creatures, they will home in on their designated target and destroy everything in standing in their way.
-Bowmen can use Indirect Fire to shoot across both friendly and hostile troops.
-Sometimes sacrifices have to be made, only we need to reach the edge but saving more soldiers is always a good thing.
-Taking fewer soldiers into battle makes the fight harder but ensures reserves for the future.
Battle will commence once we agree on what to deploy.
