Turn fest!
Turn 7 - A modern day Braveheart!
Quote from: Errol
Simply follow the men and no longer ask questions. Instead, try to memorize surroundings.
[2] You look around for landmarks on the way to the wedding, but find none. You do notice however, that you are close to the merchant's district. You can see a mall. You are getting quite close to the wedding now apparently, and noone in the group is openly suspicious of you.
Quote from: Eswen
Anyway, I light my cigar and make some wind magic smoke rings while I take in my surroundings.
[3] You smoke your cigar in a very badass way and the pub patrons are awed by the cool smoke rings. (~8 in bar, not counting staff, time is 8 AM and I'm putting a time system in from this turn onwards.)
Quote from: Relm
I try to memorize all of the script.
[4] You look over the script, at your part. You manage to memorise most of your part. Glancing over the rest of the script, you notice that it is about crime in a city, where there is a clichéd love story going on. You don't have to do anything romantic.
Quote from: Don
I knock him out with the butt of my gun and drag him to my deep basement, tie him up in a chair, and then patch him up.
[1] You bash him with your gun, but you don't manage to knock him out. Nevertheless, you drag him to the basement and try to tie him up. You dragged him over a couple of sharp things, and he is now bleeding profusely from all over. [5] You manage to, with your healing magic, stop the bleeding from the new cuts, and ease some of the pain.
Quote from: Kyeti
laugh maniacly, but quietly and start walking towards the Merchant's District, zapping converters on the way! whahahahahaha ect. damn toasters, always burning my toast! THEY WILL ALL PAY. find a toaster store.
[1] (Heh. Toasters strike back!) You find an electronics store and head for the toasters while laughing like a maniac. You blast the toasters several times, but there is no shower of sparks like last time. Just a whole lot of molten metal and circuitry. Alot of circuitry that meshes together, and by some fluke of luck, creates an ai. You now have a toaster monstrosity staring you down.
Quote from: Mr.Black
I use my earth magic to create a small rock golem.
[4+1] You start to craft a golem out of the earth, about three quarters of human size. It is perfectly loyal, smart and able to use magic, as you see it making a small wall to stop putrid liquid entering your new base. You now have Basic summoning magic!
Quote from: Gabriel
draw my sword and attempt to capture the man without the gun he might make a useful ally...if he will join me!
[5+1] You draw your sword and rush out to the fight. Your gargoyle has pacified one of them, and you rush to him. You hold your sword at his neck and look as threatening as you can. He passes out from sheer fright. [5] Your original plan ruined, you make a new one. CUT THINGS. You slash at the hunter with the MP5! [1] The hunter just stands there as you land a perfect shot in his side! [1] Despite there being ribs and organs in the way, you cleave your sword clean through him! He is dead, most of his ribs were broken, but the spine is still surprisingly intact. You might be able to make a servant out of the corpse.
Quote from: Humaan
Make MORE threads of time (man, I always get 1 on the ring construction...)
[5] You make 12 threads. You are getting good at this. (Time thread crafter)

Time:8:00 AM, clear weather, light clouds to the south.

NPC Actions
Quote from: Passer-by in Electronics shop
Call the cops!
[5] He informs the police of the toaster golem and its maker, and then runs for it.
Quote from: Toaster Golem
BREAK PUNY HUMAN WHO DISLIKES TOASTERS.
[4] It strikes at Kyeti! [5] He easily dodges the blow!
Quote from: Lauren
You can't see what she does, but it seems she hasn't noticed Kyeti's antics.
Quote from: Mittens the Gargoyle
Rip the last guy IN HALF!
[3] Mittens rushes the Anaconda hunter, and grabs on with all fours! It is unable to rip him in half, and doesn't do any real damage.
Quote from: Anaconda Hunter
Reload and shoot the gargoyle!
[6] He stuffs his colt anaconda full of ammo, and tries to shoot! it explodes, throwing shrapnel everywhere! [2/2+1] Mittens takes a direct hit from it and is thrown backwards! Despite some superficial scratches, its obsidian frame is undamaged.
Quote from: SIG 550 Hunter
He is unconscious.
Quote from: Robber
Leg it!
[6] Now that he is no longer bleeding, he makes a break for it! [4] Don is too fast for him though, and swings his SVD at the robber's legs! [1] The robbers left leg has been broken! He collapses to the ground and swears at his failure.

I am not going to lose all of the threads again!

By the way, you forgot to put them in my inventory

Now with News rolls! They are basically background rolls, but because you'll be staying in the city, background rolls wouldn't be important, so instead you get news rolls, which will inform you of fancy events, and even your own crimes.
Turn 8 - Now with more Caramelldansen
Quote from: Kyeti
RUN AWAY!!! jesus, someone needs to fight a giant toaster here (not it) I run as far away as possible and try to find a T.V to watch the obviouslty entertaining news
[6] You look at the toaster monster you have made, and then run like hell. You do perfect hurdles over several shelves, and shove a few people out of the way as you make your escape. You find the door is locked, so you jump through the window! [5] You plough through it with no injury. After this you run a block away, and look in a couple of windows. In one of the houses, there is someone watching the news. You look at it inside the window. There is a story about a daring robbery a few hours ago, and the police have no clues. Then, the story on that is cut short by breaking news. A toaster monstrosity has come to life and is wrecking up the place! In the story you can see that a police car has arrived, and the police are shooting at the toaster thing. It doesn't seem to do much.
Quote from: Eswen
I try to hide/cloak/vanish myself using illusions when nobody's looking. Perhaps with a bonus for having a magic smokescreen going
[1+1] Even with a fountain of smoke all over you, you cannot vanish from plain sight. You sit for a minute, pondering this. You then watch the news on tv, there is a story about your robbery. The police say they have no leads, and it seems they have no idea what you look like.
Quote from: Relm
I try to memorize all of the script.
[3] You easily memorise the rest of your part. After this, you ask when you are supposed to perform, and get the response of 8:30.  Some of the actors are freaking out because they don't know their lines.
Quote from: Don
Well if he has the energy to run away then he has energy to talk...or I blow off his other leg.
[6] Threats of dismemberment work wonders, and he tells you everything. He was hired by someone he only knows as 'The Crimson', and was paid $500 to try to assassinate you. He motions to his wallet in his pant pocket, and says most of the pay is in there. He also says that he wasn't the only one who took up the offer. You beat him some more, trying to get information on this Crimson guy.  All you get is that he wants you dead, and that he has alot of power in less-than-honourable circles.
Quote from: Mr.Black
I use my earth magic to make a hidden exit from my hideout directly to the surface. I tell the rock golem to help me.
[4+1] Using your map of the sewers, you open a hole at the back of your hideout to the surface. It leads to an alleyway behind Gutrot pub, where you started. Because you did it by yourself, your golem just plays with the little wall he made.
Quote from: Humaan
Using only the amount of threads as necessary, create a ring of time that will give me a +1 on my time magic rolls
[2] You manage to make a ring of time using 3 threads. It is shiny. It doesn't help your powers though. Maybe you would get more results if you practiced your powers, rather than trying to enchant equipment to help you.
Quote from: Errol
Because I'm bored, I make a random passant do Caramelldansen. Not with persuasion or stuff, just with mind magic. Priority's to keep up with the group tho.
[6] With a small bit of mind magic, you manage to get a hobo to get up and start doing the caramelldansen. It is highly entertaining. Your friends laugh at him quite alot, then they continue walking. They tell you that they are close to the wedding now. (You will be there next turn)
Quote from: Gabriel
(GM'd) Leave Mittens to deal with the stupid guy, and drag the unconscious one into my base.
[4] Mittens likes your choice of leaving the last to to it, and gets to it. You drag the hunter into the living room of your house.

Time:8:05 AM
Weather: Cloudy
News:[4] Besides the toaster golem and Eswen's Robbery, there is only one interesting story. There is someone who has stolen several things from a museum recently, and the police have no clue.

NPC Actions
Quote from: Toaster Golem
You can't see what it does, but you know it would be violent.
Quote from: Mr.Black's Golem
I play with some rocks.
[5] It sure does play with some rocks. Plays with them alot actually, and it seems to get better at it.
Quote from: Mittens the Gargoyle
Claw to face!
[3] Mittens casually strolls up to the last hunter and puts his claw on his face. It then closes its hand. [1] Its entire face is crushed into oblivion.
Quote from: Anaconda Hunter
He is quite dead, due to severe head crushing.
Quote from: SIG 550 Hunter
He is unconscious.
Quote from: Robber
Get my wallet out for this guy.
[5] Despite his constraints, the robber manages to get his wallet out of his pocket. He then insists that Don take it.
